Support to Local Arts Service Organizations Affected by Disasters
In response to the devastation in Southern California due to recent fires, Americans for the Arts is collecting donations to its Emergency Relief Fund. Funds will be used to provide assistance to local arts service organizations located in or serving those areas most affected by the fires to help them to rebuild the arts in their communities. We have been in conversation with our constituents in California and will continue to monitor their situations. In the meantime, we are accepting donations to our Fund and planning to open the granting process in mid-November.

If you or someone you know has been affected by the wildfires in California, help is available from The Actors Fund.
Last week's devastating wildfires in Southern California have touched many of our lives. At San Diego Dance.com and AMD Media, we are deeply saddened by the devastation and impact of the fires in San Diego County. We are committed to supporting recovery efforts for many of our friends throughout the cultural arts community. Many dance studios, venues, classes and scheduled performances have been directly impacted by the wildfires. This week we will be taking time off to help several dance studio owners clean up and continue with their November schedules. We will be back on line November 8.
We will continually keep you informed of resources, grants and financial assistance available to victims of a major disaster for the purpose of helping them rebuild the arts in their community. It's encouraging to know there are resource organizations providing relief efforts for the Cultural Arts community. Relief funds are available directly to local arts service organizations, nonprofit arts organizations, and individual artists to help with their recovery and their provision of services.
We are committed to assisting any local cultural arts organization with any recovery information you may need. We will be happy to provide assistance in directing you to available national, regional, and local relief efforts. Please contact us via email or call us directly @ 858. 775. 9686.
